 We’re pretty sure that you can’t get much cooler names than both the parent brand, Trumpette, and their ultra slick bag collection, Schleppbags. It’s just as cool when a brand has a cool story behind a cool name.
Jon Stevenson founded Trumpette 20 years ago when, as a single parent, he ventured out of his men’s fashion job into designing onesies for his own son. By emblazoning the front of one with the word “BOY”, the visual style of Trumpette was born. Their high end baby fashion collection includes whimsical shoes, socks, and apparel.
Aside from the fact that one of our staff had a “friend” at Trumpette, we gravitated to their unique bag collection that plays on the same visual styling. Schleppbags are all purpose: they can travel to the gym, playground, or just around town. The patent PVC is easy to wipe clean, making their “BABY” bag a perfect diaper bag for the chic mom. The best part is each bag features the same playful style of their baby fashion with bold one word titles on the outside (“GYM”, “DANCE”) and fortune cookie like sayings printed on the interior. The styling of this collection is perfect for the person with a sense of style, a dash of humor and a passion not to grow up too much.

 “You know who you are, so get noticed.” Lodis is definitely are referring to the classically fashionable. After getting our hands on the anything-but-basic black bag, wallets, laptop bags and all their other amazing accessories that this fashionable fashion company designs, we have been getting noticed. Their profiles and colors feature lush names like venom, siren, and shiva. Think classic leather goods with an edge. Each piece in the collection features sophistication, craftsmanship with attention to detail, and refined materials mixed with a bold modern attitude.
Lodis leather accessories have a very high end look with a reasonable price tag, something that is found very far and few between in the busting handbag business. Females have been falling into lust and fashion with this fabulous and affordable accessory brand. This purse powerhouse was founded in 1965, and is primarily known in the fashion world for their high end handbags. However, Lodis has luckily decided to design a line of trendy technology accessories. Until now, we never thought we would find a fabulous fashion bag that is equipped for everything that a female needs to carry, including acomputer.

 Once upon a fashion fairytale…New Orleans manufacturer Kalencom is overjoyed and excited to team up with renowned fabric and pattern designer Amy Butler. And boy, should they be!
If you haven’t yet heard of Amy Butler, it is our pleasure to introduce you. On the surface Amy Butler, is best known for her unique and quirky Midwest modern style. But really, she is far more interesting.
When she started her boasting business in the later 1980′s, Amy Butler designed handbags and accessories out of fabrics that she enjoyed collecting on her worldly travels. Her latest collection, which caught my eye, is designed from a fresh approach to botanical, geometric and romantic inspiration. Her choice of patterns and colors are very different, detailed and definitely a fresh look to the market.  Being a New York native and a fashion industry veteran, one of our bloggers was especially interested in designers that are big apple bred. She was thrilled to come across BJX bags.  Fat free, zero calories and no trans-fat, we have the skinny on the fabulous Fatboy brand. With a name like Fatboy, it is destined to attract a crowd. Commonly spotted at high profile press events, such as, Coachella, the Food Network Wine & Food Festival and Fashion Week, Fatboy Fashion fled west fast. This unique and casual accessory line was launched in the Dutch market in 2002. The brain behind Fatboy has no fat head and has built their fruitful business on expressing cool fashion through their luxurious lifestyle products. Fatboy accessories exemplify a funky sense of style and passion with a positive attitude. The main ingredient put into their recipe for success is their very quirky sense of humor sprinkled into each product that really makes the Fatboy brand a stand out. With so many fashionable and functional everyday items, it is impossible to choose just one. However, being that we are in the market for designer bags, we fully started to feel some soul.  We are so over boring backpacks, solids colors and simple lines. Our desire for design paved the path for us to come across the NokHoo laptop bag collection. We quickly learned that NokHoo is the Thai word for owl and because owls are both handsome and wise, it seemed like the perfect name for these bags and bags they are! We like to call them the big girl’s beautiful back pack. Each bag is sculpted to shape a classic back pack, carrying case and computer bag; however, this gear is anything but. With their whimsical design, wonderful styles and witty colors NokHoo is our buyer’s new handbag crush.
The brain behind this bodacious bag collection is Nicole Roberts, who spent the beginning of her career working as a textile and product designer in the fast paced fashion industry. Always engrossed with an interesting item, our buyer had to get her sticky hands on something and she carefully selected the Deloverly laptop tote. In her mind, when birds and butterflies flirt with hand embroidery and beading, she must be a part of it. But all NokHoo bags are inspired from something unique and different. The Raining Paradise laptop backpack is another favorite and carefully designed to mirror the handsome paintings of distinguished artist Gustav Klimt.

 This husband and wife team has held the secret to success close to their heart and their home. Clark & Mayfield’s company mission is to produce laptop bags for women inspired by the couple who started it. Founders Lauri and Barry DeLaczay understand the need to simplify life and decided to create a bag that could consolidate the load that they carried each day.
