Let’s Talk about….Diaper Bags

Diaper bags have come a long way. Gone are the days of squishy polyester pink, blue or winnie-the-pooh motifs. Now, they masquerade as sleek totes that marry safety and convenience with style. One of our secret goals is to have you love your diaper bag so much, that when junior turns 3, you may just keep it as a key part of your wardrobe.

Parents are busy and move from one activity to the next. Their diaper bags need both form and function. On of our coolest diaper bags is the Kalencom urban sling diaper bag. It suits both men and women and comes in everybody’s standard favorites: brown, black and tan. Even the most unsure new Dad will feel both prepared and adequate at his neighborhood Park-Slope-type-hipster cafe with this strapped across his manly chest. (Leaving his arms free to push the stroller and pick up the binky.)

For our Fashionista Mom’s – and you know who you are – we have beautiful, functional bags that would endure any design scrutiny. We challenge any woman not to love the amy michelle gladiola baby bags that come in an array of smart, patent colors. For the sporty, practical parent, the Kinart backpack has room for a diaper changing pad, first-aid kit, lunch box, and insulated bottle storage galore.

Diaper bags make a thoughtful gift for any new parent as they navigate the world, now, brightened with a new baby.

Spring Mommies Need Stylish Diaper Bags

Soapbox Moppet diaper bagIt used to be that a diaper bag was just as utilitarian as laptop bags used to be. We’re not sure if it’s the influence of brands on all of us or if it’s the large number of women now in the work force, but now the choices are just as diverse as handbags.

It really doesn’t matter what your style is, you can find a diaper bag that fits it. There are totes, messenger bags, and backpacks. Soapbox Bags and Kailo Chic couple these diaper bags styles with adorable patterns like orange circles, Hawaiian floral, and green hexagon. What is extra appealing is the fact that these patterns and colors are fun, but not overstated.

One of our favorite selections is the Amy Michelle gladiola baby bag. It’s appeal is that it is deceptively like a handbag, especially with rich textures like jacquard and faux patent leather. We also don’t want to forget dad. At the expense of sounding sexist, we think it’s safe to say most dads are more likely to favor some of the styles of Kinart, who has diaper backpacks and bags in more unisex colors like red and black.
